    Description

    Therapeutic Equestrian Program Volunteers

    MAKE A DIFFERENCE! YOU can change the life of a person with disabilities. There are many volunteer opportunities at One Step Closer, regardless of your experience or inexperience with horses:

    • Sidewalkers for riders that need assistance,
    • Horse leaders for riders that need assistance,
    • Cleaning and general maintenance,
    • E-Newsletter production

    We will work with you to find the area where you will feel most comfortable and that will be the most rewarding to you. Volunteers are always welcome!

    It is our responsibility to insure the safety of everyone involved in our programs - participants, staff, and volunteers. We follow PATH standards, and volunteers are required to attend Volunteer Training at One Step Closer. Volunteer Training classes are scheduled as needed and taught by our Volunteer Coordinator.
