    Description

Fall Into the Perfect Volunteer Opportunity! Be a Food Pick Up Driver

Food Recovery Driver volunteers make routine pick-ups to rescue food from grocery stores and restaurants. This food is distributed to nearly 600 families a month through our NVFS' Hunger Resource Center. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm. Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one shift per week for at least six months or longer. Monday drivers are currently our greatest need.

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ride along training with experience volunteer or staff and vehicle provided.

Sign up to be a Food Recover Driver today! One day a week can make a life-long impact on a family in need.

Please note this opportunity is a long-term opportunity (six months or longer) and is not for community service completion.
