    Pearl of Africa Volunteer Opportunity Call

    JOIN OUR AMAZING MAISHA MZURI PROGRAM

    You don’t need Prior Skills or Qualifications to take part in the Maisha Mzuri Training Program. For 12 weeks or less, you will work side-by-side with other dedicated Volunteers from various backgrounds, Local Women Groups, Social Entrepreneurs, Schools and Communities to co-create life changing community driven projects and programs that improve knowledge, skills, incomes, livelihoods and improve lives.

    WHAT'S EXPECTED

    • Participate in an ongoing Community project that will allow you not only provide beneficial services but also contribute to our Mission.
    • Meet new people, learn about a new culture, live in a new environment and provide meaningful support to those that need it most.
    • Closely collaborate with diverse professionals, our community champions, Partners and dedicated staff who all share the same goal of “Empowering communities with knowledge and skills for sustainable development”.

    TIME COMMITMENT

    • The time commitment is very flexible but at least approximately 4-12 weeks.
    • Possible additional time commitment to support committees, according to participant’s availability.
    • Engage in at least One or Two Community projects at hand that speaks to your interests.
    • Be available to provide or facilitate at least one or two community or village training.
    • Co-create at least one community focused project or activity.
    • Support WDF’s Fundraising efforts for urgent issues at hand prior to travel to host country.
