    Role Overview:

The C2C Computer Lab Expansion & Tech Donation Coordinator will play a vital role in expanding the C2C Computer Lab by seeking donations of computers, printers, and other tech equipment. This role will support the growth of our ICT education program for children, ensuring they have the necessary tools to engage in learning, advocacy, and empowerment through technology. The volunteer will also be responsible for organizing fundraising efforts to support the shipping and installation of donated equipment.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about child empowerment, education, and technology, and who has experience in tech fundraising, donation management, and community engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Tech Donations & Partnerships:

    • Research, identify, and establish partnerships with tech companies and corporate donors to collect computers, printers, laptops, and other essential tech equipment.
    • Coordinate with international and local donors to facilitate the donation process and ensure timely delivery of items.
    • Cultivate relationships with technology vendors and companies to build long-term partnerships for ongoing support.

    Fundraising:

    • Organize and run fundraising campaigns to raise money for shipping and installation of donated tech equipment.
    • Create compelling campaigns that highlight the impact of the C2C initiative on children’s education and their future prospects.
    • Develop engaging content (social media, newsletters, presentations) to raise awareness about the importance of tech donations for child empowerment.

    Shipping & Logistics Management:

    • Work with logistics companies to ensure the smooth shipping and delivery of tech donations to Sierra Leone.
    • Oversee the unpacking and installation of donated equipment in the C2C Computer Lab.
    • Coordinate with local teams to ensure that donated tech is appropriately set up and accessible to children.

    Community Engagement:

    • Engage with local and international communities to raise awareness about the C2C initiative, particularly the ICT education program.
    • Collaborate with the C2C team to ensure tech donations align with the needs of the children and their learning goals.

    Reporting & Monitoring:

    • Track and report on the progress of the donation and fundraising efforts, ensuring transparency and accountability.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, donors, and partners regarding the impact of their contributions.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Experience in fundraising for nonprofit causes, preferably in tech or education sectors.
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage and build relationships with corporate sponsors, donors, and community stakeholders.
    • Organizational skills to manage donation drives, shipping logistics, and fundraising campaigns.
    • Tech-savvy and understanding of tech equipment (computers, printers, etc.) and how it supports education and empowerment.
    • Knowledge of child rights, education, and empowerment issues, particularly in developing regions.
    • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
    • Experience working in international environments or with cross-cultural teams is a plus.

    • Make a lasting impact by providing children with the tech tools they need to succeed in the digital world.
    • Gain hands-on experience in global fundraising and partnership development.
    • Work alongside a dynamic team passionate about child rights, education, and empowerment.
