    Description

    Dog Adoption Day Volunteer

CAAWS is run solely by unpaid volunteers and is governed by a Board of Directors. If you interact well with animals and people and are free 1-3 Saturdays a month, then this is the volunteer position for you. Finding our animals good homes is one of the most important things any shelter does. As a Dog Adoption Day Volunteer you would help us do just that. Adoption days are every Saturday from 10:30am to 3:30pm. We ask for you to volunteer at least one Saturday a month. We hold adoptions at our shelter on Quinn Dr. We need help greeting the public, making sure the dogs and puppies are rotated outside, answering questions (after training), and counseling adoptions (after advanced training.) This opportunity is acceptable for community service hours.

PLEASE include a phone number AND e-mail address where we can reach you. If you would like to find out more about our organization please visit our website at www.caaws.org.
