    Description

We are looking for a photographer to help capture a powerful day of community, resilience, and purpose.

Calvary Women’s Services is seeking a volunteer event photographer to document our 6th Annual Community Walk on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Washington, D.C. This powerful event raises awareness and critical funds for women experiencing homelessness, many of whom are survivors of domestic violence. Held during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the walk is a time for our community to come together in solidarity with women in our programs and across D.C. who are working to rebuild their lives.

    Requirements:

    • Must bring and use your own professional-grade camera
    • Some photography experience is required — this can be professional work or a serious hobby
    • Comfort working outdoors, capturing both candid and posed moments
    • A passion for social impact and visual storytelling

    Location

    On-site

Anacostia Park (near the Roller Skating Pavilion)

1500 Anacostia Dr, Washington, DC 20020, USA
