Madison Light The Night Volunteer Opportunities

At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer.

We would not be able to Light The Night without the help of our volunteers and encourage you to join us as we bring light to the darkness of cancer.

Once you have signed up on Volunteer Match, a member of the LLS staff will reach out to find out more information about which roles you are interested in. Below are some examples of event day volunteer positions:

• general set up
• lantern assembly
• hand out t-shirts
• hand out lanterns
• route monitor
• glam station
• remembrance area
• and much more!

Whether you are able to volunteer for a little bit or for the whole day or evening, we have a spot for you.

3 shifts available:

• General event set up and lantern assembly: Thursday October 09, 2025 - 11:00 to 16:00 CST
• Lantern and t-shirt distribution, kids zone, vendor booths, etc.: Thursday October 09, 2025 - 16:00 to 20:00 CST
• General clean up: Thursday October 09, 2025 - 19:00 to 22:00 CST
