    VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP VACANCIES

    (Under Santos Creations Educational Foundation)

    1. Volunteer Lead - Stakeholder Engagement & Sponsorship

    Reports To: Chief Volunteer Officer (CVO)

    Duration: August 12 - December 18, 2025

    Commitment: 10-15 hrs/week (flexible, remote with occasional in-person engagements)

    Purpose of the Role

    The Stakeholder Engagement & Sponsorship Volunteer Lead will spearhead outreach to corporate sponsors, policy endorsers, and institutional partners to ensure NESA-Africa 2025 secures high-prestige backers ahead of the Awards Gala & EduAid Africa Expo. This role is about creating relationships that convert into sponsorships, endorsements, and nominations that add credibility to the event.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and contact 50 high-value sponsorship prospects across Africa and diaspora.

    • Lead partnership pitch sessions, supported by official NESA-Africa 2025 sponsorship deck.

    • Secure minimum 5 confirmed sponsors by November 30, 2025.

    • Obtain 10+ formal endorsements from AU/UN bodies, ministries of education, and diaspora councils.

    • Bring in 15+ institutional partnerships (universities, think tanks, NGOs).

    • Work with the media team to ensure sponsorships are publicly acknowledged.

    Ideal Volunteer Profile

    • Background in corporate relations, fundraising, or partnership development.

    • Strong network in at least one of these sectors: banking, telecoms, education, energy, media, philanthropy.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Comfortable speaking to senior executives, government officials, and international organizations.

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Sponsors confirmed & contractually committed.

    • Value of sponsorship packages secured.

    • Number and prestige level of endorsements obtained.

    • Number of active institutional partnerships.

    2. Volunteer Lead - Media & Publicity

    Reports To: Chief Volunteer Officer (CVO)

    Duration: August 12 - December 18, 2025

    Commitment: 10-15 hrs/week (flexible, remote with occasional media event coverage)

    Purpose of the Role

    The Media & Publicity Volunteer Lead will ensure NESA-Africa 2025 maintains a strong presence across TV, radio, print, and online platforms throughout Africa and the diaspora. The role focuses on building relationships with journalists, editors, and media owners to push coverage, interviews, and features.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Compile and maintain a verified media contact list of 1,000+ journalists and outlets across 54 African countries and key diaspora hubs (UK, US, Canada, UAE).

    • Pitch stories and distribute press releases to ensure 100+ media mentions before November 30, 2025.

    • Arrange interviews for NESA-Africa leaders and ambassadors.

    • Secure at least 20 major media partnerships offering free or discounted coverage.

    • Coordinate press passes and coverage logistics during EduAid Africa Expo & Awards Gala Week.

    • Monitor, track, and report media engagement metrics weekly.

    Ideal Volunteer Profile

    • PR, journalism, or media relations background.

    • Existing media connections preferred.

    • Ability to write compelling press materials.

    • Social media savvy for boosting coverage across multiple platforms.

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Number of confirmed media partners.

    • Number of media features, interviews, and mentions.

    • Social media reach generated from media coverage.

    • Timeliness and consistency of press release distribution.

    3. Volunteer Lead - Volunteer & Community Mobilization

    Reports To: Chief Volunteer Officer (CVO)

    Duration: August 12 - December 18, 2025

    Commitment: 10-15 hrs/week (remote, with strong online coordination)

    Purpose of the Role

    The Volunteer & Community Mobilization Lead will coordinate NESA Nominee Research Corps (NRC) members, ambassadors, and grassroots mobilizers to drive mass public participation in NESA-Africa 2025 nominations, voting, and December event attendance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruit, onboard, and manage 50+ NRC members by September 15, 2025.

    • Coordinate 100+ ambassadors across Africa and diaspora to promote voting and participation.

    • Organize weekly online check-ins for volunteers and ambassadors.

    • Develop toolkits (social media posts, flyers, talking points) for community mobilization.

    • Link with universities, youth groups, diaspora associations, and local chapters to boost turnout.

    • Assign volunteers to Expo & Gala Week duties (ushers, media support, logistics assistants).

    Ideal Volunteer Profile

    • Experience in community organizing, volunteer management, or student leadership.

    • Strong people skills and ability to motivate diverse teams.

    • Familiarity with online coordination tools (WhatsApp, Asana, Google Workspace).

    • Multilingual skills are an advantage (English/French/Arabic/Portuguese/Swahili).

    Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Number of NRC members and ambassadors recruited.

    • Number of active community events/meetups coordinated.

    • Public participation rate (voting, event sign-ups, donations).

    • Volunteer retention and engagement rate until event week.
