We conduct furniture collection events at the North and South Transfer Stations, preventing furniture waste at the source. Dates will vary each month. Our truck, tents, and volunteers will be stationed outside the transfer station to divert residents who are planning to throw away usable furniture. Volunteer responsibilities include communicating the program to people lined up in their vehicles, and/or offloading furniture from the customer's vehicle and into our truck.
Volunteers may join for the collection event on-site at the Transfer Stations for a morning or afternoon shift. Four volunteers per shift is all we need!
2 shifts available:
*event may end sooner if the truck is full!
Please complete our volunteer form and note that you would like to volunteer for the transfer station collection event, including the date and shift you would like to join.
