    Volunteers are asked for 2-5 hours/week based on the role. Regular attendance and participation in training are important to help us support low-income families year-round. Flexibility available, but consistency is key.

    Driver's License: Required for roles involving transportation. Background Check: Required for roles involving vulnerable individuals. Orientation/Training: Required for some roles to familiarize you with our mission and responsibilities.

    Hartford Lending Hands Inc. has been serving low-income families in Connecticut since 2013. We run programs like a food & clothing pantry, hardship assistance, and holiday support—but we need your help!

    We’re looking for dedicated volunteers for:

    ✔️ Community Outreach (spread the word about our programs)

    ✔️ Fundraising Team (help us raise money to serve more families)

    ✔️ Grant Writing (apply for funding opportunities)

    ✔️ Social Media Manager (post updates & engage with our community)

    ✔️ Program Coordinator (help organize events & services)

    This is a great opportunity for students, retirees, and anyone passionate about helping others. No experience is required—just a big heart and willingness to serve!

    📅 Flexible volunteer hours (in-person or virtual).

    📍 We serve all of Connecticut!
