Compassionate Companions Needed: Become a Hospice Volunteer

Volunteers are at the heart of hospice care, providing invaluable comfort and support to patients and their families during life's final journey. Suncrest Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in our community.

As a trained Hospice Volunteer, you will offer a caring presence and a listening ear, providing companionship through a variety of supportive activities. These may include:

• Sharing stories, reading aloud, or writing letters
• Engaging in gentle activities like crafts or music
• Accompanying patients on outings or to meals
• Simply offering a quiet, comforting presence

We provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and prepared to uphold the hospice philosophy and provide the highest quality of care. We welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and interests, including those with additional skills in areas such as massage, music, or energy work.

Some volunteers choose to support our team through administrative assistance in our office.
