    Description

Civicom Aid: Sponsor A Child - Help Keep Kids in School!

The Sponsor A Child program gives a helping hand to children in Uganda and Kenya who are not able to afford to stay in school without assistance. Children without school supplies write on the floor. Starting in February 2025, the program will:

    • Help out-of-school children return to class by providing essential supplies like notebooks, bags, pens, and shoes - route causes of their dropping out.
    • Support family Farming by teaching them farming skills to improve food production, which will increase income and reduce malnutrition in children - another route causes of their dropping out.

This two-pronged approach ensures children have the tools they need to learn and increasing families self-reliance.

Become a Sponsor A Child Ambassador!

Here's how you can make a difference:

Role 1: Look for individuals, companies, institutions, religious organizations, agencies, foundations, and others who want to help children stay in school by sponsoring a child or children. You can do this remotely or even travel to meet them in person (depending on your preference).

Role 2: Once you find potential sponsors, direct them to our website ( https://civicom.org/sponsor-a-child/) where they can learn more and get involved.

Anyone who cares about helping children can apply!
