    Description

    Fundraising Coordinator

    Role Overview:

    The Fundraising Coordinator will play a vital role in driving the financial sustainability of Less Leg More Heart. This volunteer will help manage fundraising campaigns, engage donors, assist with event fundraising logistics, and collaborate on creative strategies to generate revenue and deepen donor relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns (annual appeal, peer-to-peer, Giving Tuesday, etc.)

    • Help coordinate fundraising events (virtual and in-person), including donor outreach, tracking RSVPs, and collecting auction/raffle items

    • Maintain and update donor records and help create personalized acknowledgment materials

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to draft fundraising emails, donor spotlights, and appeal letters

    • Research and reach out to potential sponsors, partners, and grant leads

    • Bring creative energy to brainstorm new ways to raise funds and awareness

    Ideal Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Experience in fundraising, sales, development, or nonprofit work (a plus, not required)

    • Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and fundraising/CRM platforms is helpful

    • Confident in writing donor communications or willing to learn

    • Self-motivated, reliable, and excited to collaborate

    • Passion for helping people with disabilities or making a difference through mission-driven work
