Medical Interpreter/Translator

We are seeking skilled Medical Interpreters to facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. The Medical Interpreter will typically be present in the exam room, ensuring that sensitive and personal topics are discussed with care and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurately interpreting medical history, symptoms, and reasons for the patient’s visit from the patient to the physician.
• Translating the physician’s questions and responses for the patient to ensure understanding and engagement.
• Supporting healthcare professionals by performing tasks similar to those of a medical assistant, such as taking vital signs, updating patient records, and completing minor clinical or administrative duties, while primarily focusing on facilitating communication.

The ideal candidate should be qualified or certified in medical terminology and have the ability to navigate complex, technical discussions with empathy and clarity.
