As we step into March, you may be considering how you can be part of the global effort to advance gender parity. That’s because this month is internationally-recognized as Gender Equality Month, during which time people everywhere are encouraged to reflect on the ways gender bias impacts the lives of women.
Did you know that women on average have just 75% the same rights as men? This unfortunate reality is the result of systemic issues, discriminatory laws, and archaic views on gender roles that have long prevented women from enjoying equal rights.
If you’d like to do your part to champion women’s equality (and are currently job searching), we’re sharing a few organizations that support women and girls and have recently posted open roles on Idealist.
