    Description

Carol Cone ON PURPOSE (CCOP) is a leading consultancy that helps organizations develop meaningful purpose and sustainability commitments. We partner with a breadth of clients—from Fortune 500 corporations to world-changing nonprofits—delivering strategic guidance, breakthrough programming, and measurable impact.

We are seeking an experienced team member to deliver exceptional purpose and sustainability strategy and programming alongside recognized experts in the industry. Experience in the healthcare, specifically biopharmaceutical field, is preferred. If you crave a role where you’ll constantly learn, lead, and drive change in the dynamic fields of purpose, ESG, and sustainability, we want to hear from you.

As an equal opportunity employer, we strongly encourage applicants from historically underrepresented groups to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Client Service: Lead day-to-day client work for organizations across B2B and B2C sectors; build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand engagement and drive greater value.
    • Project Management: Oversee complex strategy and communications workstreams at the intersection of purpose, ESG, communications, marketing, organizational development, and philanthropy, consistently exceeding expectations for quality and timing of deliverables.
    • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive annual client plans that support both client organizational objectives and CCOP’s goals, adapting to both planned and opportunistic needs.
    • Research & Analysis: Apply rigorous research, data analytics, and metrics to monitor progress, connect insights, and drive meaningful outcomes for clients. Continuously provide insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and proactively address emerging opportunities and challenges. Comfortable using AI tools as part of your research and analysis workflow.
    • Thought Leadership: Leverage your in-depth expertise in the healthcare (particularly biopharmaceutical) sector to guide clients in developing overall leadership positioning—including strategy development, sustainability, and both internal and external communications.
    • Writing & Communications: Craft compelling, clear written communications and present findings and recommendations visually using PowerPoint or Google Slides.

    Requirements:

    • 8+ years’ experience in social responsibility, employee/community engagement, communications, marketing, or adjacent fields, in either an agency or in-house environment.
    • Demonstrated expertise in the healthcare sector, especially biopharmaceuticals, with a strong grasp of evolving industry trends and best practices.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
    • Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives, earning their trust, navigating complex issues, and driving consensus on high-impact initiatives.
    • Exceptional research and writing abilities; adept at synthesizing complex information and communicating clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Deadline-driven and highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities without sacrificing quality.
    • Visual communicator; comfortable creating and delivering presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides.

    How You Work:

    • You are extremely professional, client-focused, and bring a positive, collaborative, can-do attitude to your work.
    • You value results, excellence, and are committed to continuous learning—actively seeking and giving constructive, candid feedback.
    • You manage up, down, and across with discretion and poise, navigating complex organizations and high-powered stakeholders with ease.
    • You are a resourceful self-starter, thrive in a virtual environment, and eagerly embrace both planned and opportunistic projects.
    • You keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and have a genuine commitment to environmental and sustainability efforts.
    • You are exceptional at collaborating with diverse teams and bring a sense of humor to your work.
