    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an Account Associate with political campaigns and/or public affairs agency experience to join our dynamic and growing team. Ideal candidates are self-motivated and excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Candidates who are problem solvers, strong writers and communicators, have strong attention to detail and organization skills, and want to work in a team environment should apply.

    The Account Associate’s duties include:

    Supporting account managers on a day-to-day basis, performing general administrative tasks, and managing projects. You will coordinate with multiple departments, including data intelligence, operations, finance, and HR, while also overseeing vendor management and supporting content development—such as the production of marketing materials, project-specific reports, and creative writing. You’ll be responsible for overseeing outreach staff and completing various tasks as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Communication: Manage effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely responses to meet project needs.
    • Organization: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring that files and documents are well-organized and stored in the appropriate drives and folders.
    • Follow-ups: Keep track of project details, following up with management about pending actions or tasks that need attention.
    • Time Management: Balance meetings, client interactions, and project deadlines while maintaining a well-organized schedule.
    • Client Communication: work with direct supervisor to manage client expectations, particularly in high-pressure situations. This involves handling multiple clients and addressing their needs efficiently and professionally.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in public affairs, community organizing, or political campaigns, with a proven ability to manage client accounts and campaigns effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver clear, concise messages in high-pressure situations.
    • Demonstrated experience managing projects from planning through execution and completion.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain a well-organized schedule across several projects.
    • Proficiency with tools like Google Suite, Slack, Dropbox, Canva, Trello, and Tableau Dashboards,
    • Experience creating presentations and presenting information through visual mediums to stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to track client details and follow up with management on pending actions and tasks.
    • Willingness to travel
    • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

    Working at Street Level Strategy

    • Starting salary of $70,000-$75,000
