Idealists of the World: Who Are We, and What Do We Want?

We are idealists, practical dreamers, people in every corner of the world who believe that by agreeing on three simple things, we can change the world:

A Shared Vision

"Working together, in a spirit of generosity and mutual respect, we want to help build a world where all people can lead free and dignified lives."

A Logo for Idealists

Second, a symbol to represent these values and allow us to see each other wherever we are, across the street and around the world. A joyful logo that would allow us to say, "I am here, and I share your deepest values. And if you stand for freedom and dignity, I will stand with you."

Opportunities for Action on Idealist Days

And our third element: monthly Idealist Days, 8/8, 9/9,10/10, etc., days of action and possibility, freedom and dignity. A monthly opportunity to do something, no matter how small or big, to make our corner of the world a bit better.

A better world is possible. So let’s build it.

Hello! My name is Ami Dar, I am the founder of Idealist, and I want to tell you a story. I want to share this because I suspect that in your own life you’ve faced similar situations. And if you have, I believe that together we can change the world. Starting right now.

Calling All Dreamers: Imagine a Better World

Ami Dar, Founder and Executive Director of Idealist, invites the world to participate in Idealist Days from the stage at SubCulture in New York City. This 30-minute video is an excellent introduction to the spirit behind the Idealist Days initiative.
