ALL AGES - FREE ADMISSION
Get ready for a sky-high adventure at Soaring Through the Winds at Ferkins! Bring your family, friends, and your favorite kites (or build a DIY easy kite) to Avon Town Hall Park for a vibrant day of fun under the summer sun and through the breezes. Whether you're a kite-flying pro or just want to enjoy the breeze, there's something for everyone!

Ready to take to the skies? 🌤️ Join us for Avon's Kite Festival: Soaring Thru the Winds, an exciting day of kite flying, family fun, and creative activities at Avon Town Hall Park! Whether you're a seasoned kite-flying pro or just looking to enjoy a breezy day, there's something for everyone!
Event Highlights:
- DIY Kite: Interested in building your own kite? Register online to get a limited supply of DIY kite kits. 1 kite per child or adult.
- Art Station: Decorate your kite to make it one-of-a-kind!
- Bring Your Own Kite: Feel free to bring your favorite kite and customize it at the event!
- Bounce House - Obstacle Course: Let the little ones have fun jumping around.
- Food Trucks: Grab a bite from a variety of food trucks while you enjoy the festivities.
Important Info:
- Check-In: Visit the booth at the Ferkins Concert Area to check in and pick up your DIY kite kit (limited supply).
- Parking: The closest parking is at the Parkside Church of the Nazarene on CR 625N. If that lot fills up, additional parking is available at Avon Town Hall. From there, simply walk to the old barn area at the west end of the park, where the concert lawn is located just past the barn on the trail.
