About WOCOTM

Women of Color on the Move (WOCOTM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through advocacy, education, and support services.

Volunteer Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our community event at San Antonio Park. Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly by assisting with:

• Set-Up: Helping with tents, tables, chairs, signage, and materials before the event.
• Tabling: Greeting attendees, sharing information about WOCOTM, handing out flyers, and engaging with community members.
• Break-Down: Assisting with clean-up and packing up event materials at the end of the day.

Time Commitment

• Volunteers are needed from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes set-up and break-down).
• Minimum commitment: 4–5 hours.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, and a team player.
• Comfortable engaging with community members.
• Able to lift light to moderate items (tables, boxes, event materials).
