SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP IN CRISIS

Considering the frequency of natural disasters, man-made accidents, and violent crime in people’s daily life, CIFAL/UNITAR Bangkok (https://unitar.org/about/offices-training-centres-around-world/cifal-bangkok) collaborates with experienced security professionals and deliverers from the Human Development Forum Foundation (HDFF) in order to provide a specialized Leadership Training for “Sustainable Leadership in Crisis”. This initiative aims to increase the participant’s awareness and adeptness in handling crisis situations prevalent in humanitarian or business operations as well as in daily life. The training adheres closely to international regulations and takes into consideration best practices. Focus point are decision-making in crisis, situational awareness, risk mapping, and developing risk mitigation strategies tailored for leaders facing various crisis scenarios.

Objectives:

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

– Increase their understanding of a proactive security attitude and the importance of decision-making in crisis based on situational awareness, as well as related risk assessments.

– Provide leaders with helpful tools and techniques needed to avoid or cope adequately in endangering or potentially dangerous situations.

– Receive a UN certificate from CIFAL/UNITAR Bangkok.
