    Description

    Burt Aaronson Park Tree Planting

Community Greening has teamed up with the Florida Forest Service & PBC Parks to transform the Cross County Track at Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park by planting 85 new Florida native shade trees on Saturday, October 18th!

These trees will provide cooler temperatures and much needed shade for runners using the track, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground!

CG Arborists and our trained Tree Technicians will be on hand to lead the group, and guide/assist volunteers. No experience needed, and all skill levels and physical capabilities welcomed. We encourage anyone to join us who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, while helping a great cause.

Community Greening will provide all of the tools needed, have work gloves to borrow, as well as water and light snacks. We’ll even have a DJ on-site to keep things fun!

Please wear closed-toe shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen.

Families are welcome, all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entire duration. Event begins at 9am, and estimated to finish at 11am.

Burt Aaronson South County Region Park is located in West Boca. The Cross Country Track is located across from the Dog Park & Sunset Pavilion. The best GPS address for the Cross Country Track is Sunset Pavilion – Amphitheater Cir, Boca Raton, FL 33498.
