    The Role

    The Search Consultant (SC) is the main point of outreach on behalf of CSG clients. The SC works closely with project coordinators and the CEO to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the needs of our nonprofit clients. The SC has an eye for talent and conducts thorough interviews to ensure a competitive pool of qualified applicants. The SC is a skilled mediator and communicates skillfully with clients and candidates to find the best fit for both clients and candidates.     Responsibilities

    • Build long-term relationships with candidates
    • Recognize and strive to meet client's hiring needs
    • Create and implement recruiting strategies
    • Search for potential candidates using hiring databases and social media
    • Assess applications and resumes
    • Screen applicants before the interviewing process
    • Match applicants to job positions
    • Coach candidates through the hiring process
    • Negotiate salaries and benefits
    • Prepare candidate profiles and documents to support the recruitment process
    • Solicit business on behalf of CSG and support business-development activities.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years of nonprofit experience, with emphasis on fundraising or executive leadership.
    • Superior interpersonal skills and relationship management experience.
    • Experience in hiring and mentoring staff is an asset.
    • Strong time management and organisational skills.
    • Tech savvy and familiar with social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
    • Motivated self-starter who can think critically and solve challenges creatively.
    • Able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be based in the United States. This is a project- based, independent contractor position. Compensation varies based on the number of projects completed. The full-time salary equivalent for this role is $60,000-$80,000 annually.
