    Description

    A small national nonprofit professional association representing members involved in the in international trade policy is seeking a proactive and detailoriented Operations and Program Coordinator. This role provides essential administrative and cross-functional support to the 4 teams members across membership, events, advocacy, education, communications, and executive operations, contributing to the organization's mission to support compliance, education, and advocacy in the trade community.

    This is an immediate need. We are looking for someone who can start right away and potentially travel to their conference in late August. The role is long term temporary, but they hope to hire someone in the future.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative and operational support across departments
    • Assist with membership processing, outreach, and data management
    • Support logistics for in-person and virtual events
    • Coordinate advocacy materials and meeting scheduling
    • Help manage educational and certification programs
    • Contribute to newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates
    • Assist with financial tracking and executive support tasks

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit or trade association
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools
    • Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality

    Preferred: Familiarity with trade, customs, or trade is a plus but not required

    Location: Washington, DC. This position is primarily remote, but will require some time in the DC Office which is located in downtown. We need someone flexible to come in when needed and sometimes without much notice, therefore candidates will need to be in the DMV area.
