    Description

Are you the kind of dynamic leader people remember? Someone who not only drives projects to successful outcomes, but also creates an environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and inspired? If this sounds like you, this could be the career opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

We are Vina Moses Center, a nonprofit organization that has long been a cornerstone of Corvallis for over 100 years. We’re excited to announce a new opportunity at the Center: Program Manager. This role was created to help us elevate our services and strengthen our talented team.

As Program Manager, you will play a key role in advancing our mission by overseeing human resources, program management, compliance, and risk management. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

    • Leading, coordinating, and implementing social service programs that improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities
    • Managing program staff and budgets
    • Collaborating with community partners to strengthen impact
    • Monitoring program outcomes and ensuring compliance with all regulations

You won’t be doing this alone—our Executive Director and management team are committed to supporting your success. As a member of this team, you’ll help guide the organization to ensure programs are delivered effectively, on budget, and aligned with our mission.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to help people through times of hardship by engaging the community to build resilience and improve wellbeing. Every day, we meet urgent needs by providing clothing, household goods, food, and other essential items donated by the community to those who need them most.

Do you have the following qualifications?

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, nonprofit administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
    • 3+ years of experience in a program management or operations role, preferably at a nonprofit organization.
    • Program or project management experience, including directing the work of staff and managing budgets and work plans.
    • Previous experience directly supervising one or more staff.
    • A collaborative and flexible style, with a learning orientation and team approach, including excellent judgment, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion when working with partners, colleagues, clients, and coworkers.

The Program Manager position is full-time (exempt) with a salary range of $58,000- $63,000 annually. Work is performed on-site from our office in Corvallis. We offer a benefit package which includes generous paid time off and holidays, paid sick leave, health, dental, and vision benefits, and 3% IRA match.

If you’re ready to bring your leadership and program management skills to a mission-driven organization making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit a short cover letter and resume to: recruitment@cascadeemployers.com. In your cover letter, please describe what positive community impact means to you and how a program you managed successfully achieved it.

First review of applicants begins on September 17th so don’t wait! The position is open until filled.

Cascade Employers Association is assisting with this recruitment.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the communities we serve. We strongly encourage people of color, individuals from historically marginalized groups, and candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
