    Position Title: Impact Education Visionary (Intern)

    Department(s): Impact Education

    Reports To: Associate Director, Youth and Educator Engagement

    Position Summary:

    Creative Visions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and United Nations NGO, empowers creative activists worldwide to raise awareness of critical issues and drive positive change through impact storytelling.

    The Impact Education Visionary is a paid intern who supports Creative Visions’ Impact Education department in delivering innovative and engaging programming. Reporting to the Associate Director of Educator and Youth Engagement, the intern contributes to projects that empower young people to explore creativity, human rights, and changemaking. The Impact Education Visionary also assists with departmental tasks to ensure the overall success of all Impact Education programs.

    Responsibilities

    Program Delivery

    • Deliver Creative Changemakers programming (CV Labs) in K–12 classrooms, ensuring lessons are interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate.
    • Facilitate workshops and activities that inspire creativity, critical thinking, social awareness, and student-led problem-solving.
    • Adapt programming to meet the diverse needs, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds of students.

    Program Planning & Development

    • Assist with curriculum design, lesson planning, and preparation of teaching materials and digital resources.
    • Support coordination of classroom schedules, logistics, and communications with teachers and schools.

    Departmental Support

    • Assist the Associate Director of Educator and Youth Engagement with outreach, resource development, and program implementation.
    • Contribute to program documentation, reporting, and evaluation to track outcomes and impact.
    • Participate in cross-program initiatives that promote creative activism, student engagement, and innovation.
    • Complete administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of the Impact Education department.

    Skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage students, educators, and nonprofit leaders.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for relationship-building.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Proficiency with office software, database management, and digital communication tools.
    • Critical and creative thinker, comfortable asking questions, making suggestions, and contributing to continuous improvement and learning.
    • Currently enrolled in a graduate education program, preferably in arts education.

    Knowledge & Interests

    • Human rights, global development, and social justice.
    • Creative activism and changemaking.
    • Awareness of current events and the ability to connect them to student learning.

    Experience

    • Experience working with K–12 students preferred.
    • Demonstrated storytelling and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.

    This is a 20-hour-per-week part-time position, lasting 26 weeks from November 2025 to May 2026, excluding approximately 4 weeks of holiday time, which can be agreed upon with the supervisor. The position includes a stipend of $15,000 for the full term.
