POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data & Fiscal Policy Intern works closely with the Fiscal Policy Team to advance FPWA’s mission under the guidance of the Fiscal Policy Analyst. In this role, you will analyze internal and public data, build and maintain data visualizations, perform research and analysis on local, state, and federal tax and budget policy, contribute to publications, and offer ideas for new research.

Starting at $18-25 per hour depending on experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
As part of building a culture where employees and interns can do their best work, FPWA currently employs a hybrid model. Employees and interns are in-office twice per week and senior leadership is in-office three times per week. This role would follow a hybrid schedule of two days per week in the office. We observe company-wide remote Fridays.
Given the work and need for in person engagement routinely with stakeholders and with FPWA staff, the Data & Fiscal Policy Intern is a NYC-based position. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
