Contractor Opportunity: Consultant – “Superpower Strategies” Pilot

NAMI Illinois is seeking a skilled and experienced consultant to serve as a contractor for the development and evaluation of an elementary school-based mental health pilot program. This project-based contract will support NAMI Illinois in advancing mental health education, early intervention, and evidence-based practices for students and educators of grades 3-5.

Key Responsibilities

Pilot Planning

• • Helping define clear, measurable goals for program evaluation
  • Determining which types of schools to engage and how many to include in the pilot
  • Supporting the development of an implementation and evaluation timeline

Data & Fidelity Design

• • Identify key data points to be collected.
  • Establish feedback collection methods.
  • Provide guidance on allowable program modifications while preserving fidelity to the core model.

Pilot Execution

• • Available for insight and consultation throughout the pilot period.
  • Provide responsive support to ensure smooth implementation.

Pilot Evaluation

• • Analyze collected data to assess program effectiveness and impact.
  • Advise on whether the program meets criteria to be considered evidence-based.
  • Recommend program adjustments and provide guidance for potential scale-up.

Contract Details

• • Estimated Time Commitment: 75–105 hours total (20–30 hours planning, 30–40 hours implementation support, 25–35 hours evaluation).
  • Estimated Timeline: November 2025 – June 2026
  • Location: This position will be remote/hybrid as discussed with the supervisor. Flexible hours with some weekday availability.

Compensation: Flat-rate contract in the range of $8,000, based on final scope and deliverables.
