    Description

    This role is essential to achieving this year's aggressive goals and objectives. Your mission will be the implementation and coordination of our Workplace Culture and Belonging strategy in support of the overall goal of attracting, retaining, and developing the best talent; supporting an organizational culture that is rooted in a racial/gender justice framework and centers the most marginalized in our communities; and owning the continuous development of our organizational sustainability and strengthening practices to establish a community of belonging. This helps to impact our strategic plan/priority of building an organization that makes the growth and vision of our strategic plan possible. Therefore, the major priorities of this role are listed below, including identifying ways in which this position will lead (i.e., own the planning and implementation) and support the Senior Director, Culture & Belonging (i.e, providing thought partnership, completing discrete tasks, etc.).     Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a senior HR generalist-level role for a nonprofit organization.
    • Labor/employment laws compliance management for a nonprofit organization with an LGBTQ+/social justice element.
    • Has previously led a portion or facet of the Lifecycle Management process for a nonprofit organization.
    • Translating complex processes into digestible formats for diverse audiences and learning styles.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • High proficiency in project management and implementation, analysis and measurement, continuous improvement, and advanced conflict resolution skills. As a key member of the workplace culture team, we desire deeply evolved racial equity skills.
    • High proficiency in process, review, implementation, and training/communicating with employees.
    • Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Deep commitment to LGBTQ+ equality, social justice, and inclusive movement-building.
    • Demonstrated use of racial equity frameworks to guide strategy and decision-making.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the year.
