    Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the operational and financial functions

of BCWK, ensuring the organization’s systems run smoothly and effectively to support its mission.

This role calls for someone who loves to crunch numbers, feels at home in a spreadsheet, and is

prepared to “get all of our ducks in a row.” We’re looking for an expert who can support BCWK’s

work through our dedication to transparency, compliance, and operational excellence. Candidates

should be able to look at processes and determine the system that will enable and sustain

success. Crucially, this role will provide the stable, structured foundation necessary as our

organization undergoes a strategic planning process and leadership transition. The ideal

candidate thrives in ambiguity, helping to build new systems where none existed, and bring clarity

to complex, evolving situations. The Operations Manager will ensure our team is resourced,

accountable, supported, and free to focus on building power for water justice in Houston. The

Operations Manager will report to the Executive Director

    Benefits

Unlimited paid leave, paid holidays, and paid parental leave; subsidized group healthcare, dental,

and vision coverage; BCWK-funded IRA contribution; and negotiable flex hours. This is a full-time,
