In this role, you’ll combine your skills in mentor recruitment, program coordination, and community engagement to build meaningful connections that directly impact children’s lives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Mentor Recruitment & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to recruit, screen, train, and retain mentors; build diverse and consistent pipelines of mentors through outreach campaigns, social media, and local networking.
    • Community & Corporate Outreach: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with schools, civic groups, businesses, faith-based organizations, and universities to expand awareness and resources.
    • Mentor Management: Provide ongoing support for mentors; oversee training sessions, match activities, and mentor/mentee pairings.
    • Program Coordination: Collaborate with the Center Director and National Program Team to align mentor activities with student and program needs; assist with special projects and family outreach events.
    • Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records on mentor engagement, prepare program reports, and ensure compliance with best practices and organizational policies.

    Required Qualifications (Experience Required)

    We are seeking a mission-driven professional with proven experience in mentor and program management:

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, communications, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mentor recruitment, retention, and management.
    • Strong community engagement and partnership-building experience; ability to represent the organization in public forums.
    • Ability to work with multiple managers and stakeholders, balancing priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent public speaking, event coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social media for outreach.
    • Haitian Creole / French proficiency a plus, reflecting Orlando’s diverse community.
