WELCOME.US
The mission of Welcome.US is to unleash the power and potential of America’s greatest strengths – its institutions of civil society, the inventiveness and leadership of its private sector, and the compassion and service of the American people – to remake the resettlement system so we can welcome many more newcomers in need of safety, in ways that help newcomers and communities thrive together.
Welcome.US launched in September 2021 during a period of emergency response and innovation. Our work started with a goal of mobilizing Americans to respond to the urgent resettlement of Afghan allies, then expanded to support Ukrainians fleeing war, and now helps to serve those seeking refuge from around the globe, including increasingly in our own hemisphere.
