    Description

    ThinkGive is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower youth to take actions that positively impact themselves and others—building character, confidence, and connection. We partner with schools and youth organizations to deliver research-backed social and emotional learning (SEL) programs during school and out-of-school time, supporting emotional well-being and character development in youth ages 5–14. Since our founding in 2013, we’ve engaged over 18,500 youth. This year, we’ll partner with about 90 schools and youth-serving organizations—85% of which serve primarily under-resourced youth.

    Reporting to the Executive Director and working as part of the Program Team, the Program Coordinator supports the management and delivery of ThinkGive’s programs, contributes to curriculum and content development, and helps ensure program quality and impact. The ideal candidate is organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Program Management: Facilitate ThinkGive programs in schools and partner organizations.

    • Prepare for program launches, including online setup, scheduling, and teacher training.
    • Monitor program implementation by supporting educators. Gathering feedback and addressing issues to improve program quality.
    • Conduct local site visits to observe lessons, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for program improvement.
    • Collect, analyze, and report out on student and teacher feedback.
    • Provide regular updates to the Program Team and Board on current and upcoming programs.
    • Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and the CRM database.

    Relationship Building

    • Nurture relationships with current educators to ensure program retention.
    • Identify and cultivate opportunities for program expansion within sites.

    Curriculum Development

    • Assist with curriculum design and content development.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on program-related projects and publicity.
    • Contribute to website updates and content related to programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage colleagues and educators.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented; skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Collaborative team player who also works effectively independently.
    • Genuine interest in education and social and emotional learning.
    • Proficient with technology (e.g., Google Workspace and Canva) (and willing to learn).
    • Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience.
