Location: Remote (PST core hours preferred)

Reports to: Director of Resource Development

    About Operation HOPE–North County

Operation HOPE–North County (OHNC) is a year-round shelter and wraparound program supporting families and single women on their path to stability and independence.

    Role Summary

The Partnerships Coordinator supports OHNC’s corporate fundraising plan to raise $250,000 through sponsorships, CSR grants, matching gifts, cause-marketing, and volunteer engagement. This is a hands-on coordination role focused on research, outreach support, scheduling, materials, and CRM hygiene—freeing senior staff to close gifts.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospecting & Outreach Support (50%)

    • Research and qualify corporate prospects; maintain a prioritized target list.
    • Draft outreach emails, schedule discovery calls/site tours, and prep call sheets.
    • Track activity, contacts, and next steps in the CRM (e.g., Bloomerang/Neon/Salesforce).

    Proposals, Portals & Stewardship (40%)

    • Assemble proposal packets and sponsorship decks; manage brand/logo swaps and benefit grids.
    • Prepare grant portal submissions with accurate attachments.
    • Coordinate recognition deliverables (social posts, website logos, newsletter mentions) and simple impact updates.

    Volunteer & Matching Gifts (20%)

    • Coordinate turnkey corporate volunteer days (dates, rosters, light logistics).
    • Promote and track matching gifts, volunteer grants, and workplace giving opportunities.

    90-Day Success Milestones

    • Build a vetted list of 80–100 target companies (tiered by capacity/warmth).
    • Book 10–12 first meetings for senior staff; prep briefs for each.
    • Support submission of 6–8 tailored proposals/sponsorship packages.
    • Stand up a simple dashboard (meetings, proposals, wins, revenue, gift mix).

    Qualifications

    • 1–3+ years in development, partnerships, sales coordination, or similar admin role.
    • Strong writing, organization, and follow-through; comfort juggling many details.
    • CRM and Google Workspace fluency; basic Canva/Slides skills a plus.
    • Familiarity with CSR portals and sponsorships preferred.
    • Mission alignment; North County San Diego connections a plus.

    Schedule & Work Environment

    • Remote, with flexible scheduling within PST core hours; occasional evening/weekend support for events (rare).

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Hourly rate: $20; non-exempt.
    • Pro-rated PTO/holidays per policy; tools provided as needed.
