    About the CELL

    The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (CELL), part of the Mizel Institute, is a nonpartisan nonprofit advancing public safety through education. Our programs, exhibits, and training initiatives empower individuals to identify and prevent security threats — because knowledge is the most powerful tool against violent extremism.

    About the Role

    The Special Projects Coordinator supports the CELL’s educational programming, marketing, and communications. This is a great fit for a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives on cross-team collaboration, writing, and organizing mission-driven initiatives.

    What You’ll Do

      • Research and develop content on national and global security topics.
      • Support marketing, email, and communication campaigns.
      • Coordinate cross-department projects using Monday.com.
      • Assist in executing programs, events, and trainings.
      • Write, edit, and proofread program materials and web content.

    What We’re Looking For

      • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or project coordination.
      • Degree or experience in national security or related topics preferred.
      • Excellent writing and organizational skills.
      • Strong communicator with attention to detail.
      • Passion for the CELL’s mission and public safety education.
