    Anthos|Home is an innovative nonprofit transforming the way New Yorkers with housing subsidies locate and secure stable housing. Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, we streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in process while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher system. Our mission is to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

    The Role

    The Housing Operations Specialist - Repairs will report to the Housing Operations Supervisor and work closely with landlords, tenants, and internal teams to ensure timely repairs and accurate data tracking.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor repair agreements and conduct weekly check-ins with landlords and vendors on all needed or in-process repairs.
    • Coordinate with landlords and vendors to ensure repairs meet inspection standards and compliance requirements.
    • Oversee the entire repair process, ensuring timely progress, scheduling inspections, and facilitating access by collecting keys and setting up lockboxes.
    • Perform verification walkthroughs, document repairs with photos, videos, and notes to support compliance, and conduct ARC and HQS inspections.
    • Maintain accurate repair data in Salesforce and update unit records for client viewings.
    • Source and maintain relationships with vendors, prioritizing Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE).
    • Communicate inspection findings to Housing Acquisition and Operations teams.
    • Collect keys from property providers.
    • Provide weekly reports to the VP of Housing Acquisition.
    • Perform other duties as needed.

    Qualifications and Skills

    The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for housing solutions.

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 3+ years of experience in housing or human services.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Willingness to travel for inspections and meetings.
    • Passion for Anthos|Home’s mission and ability to work in a diverse environment.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive starting salary: $65,000 - $70,000
    • Hybrid work environment (2-5 days in office/field per week)
