    Description

    As we approach our 24th anniversary, we are offering an opportunity for someone who has solid administrative skills and wants to be of service in a creative, dynamic environment. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week. The core duties and responsibilities of this position revolve around supporting the Forge Manager.

    Job Duties can vary from day to day and include the following:

    Answer phones and greet visitors, collate and distribute mail, flag and forward important correspondence to appropriate persons, maintain calendars, write and edit documents such as emails, invoices, reports, letters and instructional documents. Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, manage accounts and perform basic bookkeeping, assist in creating and posting the workshop calendar, track, input and resolve workshop attendance, transfers & cancellations, coordinate volunteers to schedule instructors, assistants and public demonstrations, assist with event planning.

    Requirements:

    Strong oral and written communication skills, calm and courteous customer service skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications, able to learn new things, well organized and pays close attention to detail, able to work alone or with a team, good problem solving skills.

    Level of Language Proficiency
