Palau International Coral Reef Center is seeking applicants for the position of
Researcher.
The researcher will perform basic and applied marine related research by
conducting field and lab work, compiling and analyzing data and writing technical
reports and peer-reviewed publications or scientific papers related to assigned
research being conducted.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine
Biology, Ecology, Oceanography, Coastal and Pelagic Fisheries, Fisheries
Management or other related field from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of marine research and/or related field and some experience in
resource management and conservation is preferred. Field and laboratory work are
essential part of a researcher’s duties so applicants must be able to conduct field
and lab work on a regular basis.
