    Description

    Position Overview:

    The HUD Grants Billing Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the accurate and timely submission of HUD grant billings and reconciliations. This position oversees a team of billing specialists and coordinates across departments to maintain compliance, transparency, and efficiency in fiscal grant management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and develop a team responsible for preparing and submitting HUD-related invoices
    • Ensure all billing processes align with HUD regulations and funding guidelines
    • Oversee monthly reconciliations and monitor grant payments
    • Facilitate sub-recipient billing compliance and training
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, reporting, and funder communications
    • Collaborate with Grants Admin leadership, Finance, and Program staff on budget tracking and contract oversight

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or related field required (Master’s a plus)
    • 3+ years of grants administration or HUD/federal funding experience
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience
    • Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and financial reporting
    • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
    • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Abila, HMIS)
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
