    The Staten Island YMCA Counseling Service is seeking an Associate Program Director. In coordination with the Senior Program Director, the Associate Program Director will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and clinical operations are being fully executed by the clinical, volunteer, and support staff of the North Shore location of the Counseling Service Branch.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical, programmatic, fiscal, and administrative operations, including scheduling, operations, and treatment and prevention programming.
    • Ensures program-wide superior Quality Assurance & Program Quality through contract and regulatory compliance, fulfilling OASAS, regulatory, funding, and branch clinical standards, as well as evidence-based/best practices.
    • Develop program census through outreach, coordination, coalitions, and creation/maintenance of strategic partnerships.
    • Research new funding opportunities and assist in the development/implementation of new program initiatives and program curriculum.
    • Perform staff/volunteer development, supervision, and management responsibilities in coordination with the Program Director.
    • Manage unplanned events related to staffing, facilities, crises, and general program operations.
    • Deliver direct services and maintain the caseload, including intake assessments, as well as individual, crisis intervention, group, family, and family support sessions.
    • Maintain and oversee comprehensive and appropriate documentation for each client file, including treatment plans and session/billing reporting.
    • Recruit, train, retain, and supervise volunteers, interns, and part-time and full-time staff delivering programming, including conducting performance appraisals with staff and providing administrative/clinical/programmatic supervision.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    • LMSW, LMHC, CASAC-Advanced Counselor required. LCSW, LMHC-D preferred.
    • One (1) year of experience in addiction or a related field. Three (3+) years of experience in addiction or a related field preferred.
    • One (1+) year of experience in staff supervision, fiscal management, program planning, and quality assurance. One (1+) year of experience in clinical Supervision preferred.
    • Three (3) years of experience in behavioral health. Five (5+) years of experience in behavioral health preferred.
    • Knowledge of prevention, treatment, recovery systems of care, mental health/co-occurring disorders, and person-centered treatment.
    • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child welfare systems, court systems, and available resources/referrals preferred.

    Salary: $72,000 - $77,000 Annually
