Description
The Role
We’re seeking a Program Coordinator who will also teach ESL classes twice a week. This position supports VACCEB programs while leading ESL instruction for adult learners. Duties include:
- Teaching beginner/intermediate ESL classes 2x/week.
- Outreach, education, and client intake/data entry (Salesforce).
- Coordinating program projects to meet deliverables.
- Attending partner/community meetings and advocacy events.
- Providing administrative and hands-on support across programs.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years nonprofit or related experience; ESL teaching/tutoring preferred.
- Strong communication and ability to work independently.
- Comfort working with underserved communities (seniors, refugees, immigrants).
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Drive; Salesforce a plus.
- Bilingual (Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish) strongly preferred.
- TEFL or TESOL certified preferred
