    Summary/Objective

    The Outreach & Marketing Coordinator will help RMMFI connect with communities across Colorado by recruiting entrepreneurs and volunteers to join our programs. This role will lead outreach efforts through events, social media, marketing campaigns, and partnerships, while also creating new ways to reach our stakeholders statewide. The coordinator will guide entrepreneurs and volunteers through the intake process and work closely with RMMFI’s team to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed. Fluency in Spanish is required.

    • Entrepreneur Recruitment
      • Recruit entrepreneurs for RMMFI’s three pipelines: Denver Metro, Statewide English, and Statewide Spanish.
      • Use a mix of outreach strategies, including attending community events, flyering, social media, and paid advertising.
      • Design and test new recruitment strategies, both in-person and online, to meet pipeline goals (e.g., new social media campaigns, SEO improvements, referral incentives).
      • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to create strong referral networks.
      • Conduct intake conversations with aspiring entrepreneurs to ensure readiness and connect them with the right resources.
      • Track outreach efforts, entrepreneur engagement, and recruitment outcomes using RMMFI’s CRM to inform strategies and report on progress.
    • Volunteer Recruitment
      • Recruit volunteers across Colorado using events, social media, volunteer boards, and LinkedIn outreach.
      • Develop new outreach and marketing strategies to engage potential volunteers and meet recruitment needs.
      • Conduct intake conversations with prospective volunteers to assess alignment, skills, and availability.
      • Support the programs team with matching volunteers to mentorship roles and other program opportunities.
      • Track outreach and volunteer data in RMMFI’s CRM to ensure accurate reporting and effective follow-up.
    • Referral & Resource Partnerships
      • Build and manage partnerships with organizations and networks that refer entrepreneurs and volunteers to RMMFI.
      • Serve as the main point of contact for resource partners and ensure strong, ongoing collaboration.
      • Use the CRM to track partnership activity, referrals, and follow-up communication.

    • Relationship building with entrepreneurs, volunteers, and partners to strengthen RMMFI’s community network.
    • Marketer and creative thinker who can design and implement effective online and in-person outreach strategies, including social media, paid advertising, and referral campaigns.
    • Able to pivot quickly, test new strategies, and adjust approaches to meet pipeline goals and community needs.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately track outreach, recruitment, and partnership activity in RMMFI’s CRM.
    • Ability to use data to measure progress, inform decisions, and improve strategies.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to build strong connections and trust across diverse communities through clear, culturally responsive communication.

    Work Environment

    • This position is based in a small nonprofit office setting, with a minimum requirement of two in-office workdays per week. The office environment is collaborative, mission-driven, and dynamic, with opportunities for cross-team engagement and open communication. Employees are expected to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and flexible workplace culture.
    • While in the office, team members will have access to shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and necessary office equipment. The remaining workdays may be completed remotely, offering flexibility and a balanced approach to on-site and virtual work. Staff are expected to attend in-person meetings, trainings, and events when scheduled.

    Physical Demands

    • May lift up to 20 pounds on occasion
    • Walking and standing at events, as needed

    Travel Required

    • Regular travel within Colorado for meetings and events.
    • Up to 30% statewide travel to support outreach and recruitment efforts.
