    Description

    The Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, New Jersey is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper (4 days/week) Bookkeeper. Candidates must have significant bookkeeping experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.

    Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

    payables; receivables; payroll, preparing for annual audit; working closely with Executive Director to develop organizational, project and grant budgets; insurance; banking; monthly financial reports; monthly closing of books; tracking grant expenses; and working with the Museum’s donor database.

    Successful candidates will have experience with Donor Perfect, Sage 50 accounting software, payroll services and Microsoft office, including proficiency in Excel. Candidates must have strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

    The Museum offers flexible hours, paid vacation and sick leave.

    Salary: $40,000
