Salesforce & Database Manager
Use your skills as a Salesforce maven and database expert to help make New York a more dynamic place to work, live, and visit. Make valued contributions to an organization dedicated to improving the public realm by using your knowledge of database systems, project management skills, and your general technology sophistication to empower colleagues and provide the organization with the right tools to pursue its mission.
At the Alliance for Downtown New York, you’d be working on projects ranging from helping manage and troubleshoot its Salesforce database to maintaining and improving our digital asset management system to integrating emerging AI tools into these databases and helping keep major projects on time and on budget, and more.
We are looking for a savvy, people person who enjoys making an organization work smarter and gets a kick out of helping others take full advantage of the digital age. In short, a customer service orientation, along with a desire to stay on top of emerging technology trends and skills, will serve an applicant well. The Database Lead will be a part of a small team of employees and consultants who make up our technology services unit. The position will report directly to a Senior Vice President of the organization. In this role, you will have access to a long-standing Salesforce consulting partnership.

Salary for the position will be calculated based on number of hours employee will work per week, with a pay range from $35/hr to $50/hr.
Flexible Hours and Benefits Eligibility
The hours for this position are flexible, as this could be a part-time or full-time role, ranging from 20-40 hours per week (a set number of weekly hours will be determined during the interview process). Staff are required to be on site 3 days per week.
Employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week will be eligible for a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, commuter benefit, Citibike membership, paid leave, and retirement benefits. Employees working 29 hours or less will not be eligible for our benefits package.
