Join us at Colegio Americano del Sur (CAS) in beautiful Guatemala, the Land of Eternal Spring! We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Middle School Social Studies/English Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2026 school year.
About the Position
This role includes teaching Social Studies and English to students in grades 6–9. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic educator who believes learning should be engaging, inquiry-driven, and relevant to the real world.
Requirements:
- English L1 (native) or high-level proficiency
- Proven classroom teaching experience
- Commitment to student-centered learning and innovation

Benefits
A large house is provided for all teachers to share. Transportation costs to and from school are shared by the teacher and school.
$1000 travel expense/$1000 bonus at the end of the contract
$1000 bonus if you sign a new contract.
Visa processed and paid by the school. ($800)
