    Your Role

This position will serve a critical support role for two teams that handle high-intensity, large-scale litigation matters. The position will require someone who is a self-starter, has exacting attention to detail, and who can remain nimble, flexible, and responsive to competing deadlines and tasks requested to support our litigators, pro bono partners, and clients.

Immigrant and Racial Justice litigators primarily maintain separate dockets with separate cases, goals, and timelines. A successful Litigation Assistant will be able to balance competing demands on their time, anticipate and communicate where deadlines and demands overlap and plan accordingly, and “manage up” by proactively communicating potential issues and key developments between both teams.
