    Description

    The International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP) is seeking a Programs Coordinator. ISCP is a not-for-profit, residency-based contemporary art center for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world. Founded in 1994, ISCP has hosted over 2,000 artists and curators from more than 100 countries, including the United States. ISCP organizes exhibitions, events and offsite projects, which are free and open to all, sustaining a vibrant community of contemporary art practitioners and diverse audiences.     The Programs Coordinator is a key member of ISCP’s team and is responsible for a range of activities including managing the studio schedule, communicating and coordinating with sponsors and assisting with residency programming, reporting directly to the Director of Programs and Exhibitions. The successful candidate must enjoy a fast-paced work environment with steady multitasking and problem solving.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Oversee a two-year residency schedule, including correspondence with sponsors and direct applicants, scheduling all studios, managing some advance correspondence with incoming residents, including preparing visa letters and sending housing recommendations as needed
    • Execute residency contracts
    • Assist with all phases of check-in of residents and maintaining floor plans with residency information
    • Prepare copy for Open Calls for residency applications, coordinates with nominators and jurors and posts Open Calls to outside websites
    • Manage and register all incoming applications from Open Calls and Direct Applications, organize and oversee juries and selection processes
    • Assist with resident services and benefits, including but not limited to onsite or day-of coordination of visiting critics, assisting with field trips, social events, art fair passes, and trips to Materials for the Arts
    • Transfer resident information from Form Assembly to Salesforce database, update Salesforce with other key sponsor contacts as needed
    • Work with the entire staff on Open Studios events
    • Periodically assist with planning and executing events and exhibitions, as schedule permits

    Education and Experience:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary art field preferred
    • Ability to work with a team and independently in a fast paced environment
    • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent number years’ experience

    Excellent computer skills including Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, Microsoft Office and G Suite; Salesforce/database experience a plus
