    Position Overview

The Donor Engagement & Events Manager leads the implementation of Avenidas’ philanthropy strategy, integrating donor events, fundraising campaigns, appeals, grant deliverables, and cross-departmental initiatives. Evening and weekend hours may be required for events and donor activities.

    • Align and guide cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, program) to meet development goals and deadlines.

    Department Oversight

    • Advise and prepare the CEO, and VP with materials for donor meetings, board reports, and strategy sessions.
    • Manage and negotiate vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with brand standards.

    Campaign & Stewardship Management

    • Oversee collaboration with the Development Associate to generate mailing lists, verify donor data, and review campaign materials.
    • Lead the execution of multi-channel fundraising appeals and donor communications.
    • Ensure accountability for stewardship plans, tracking donor touchpoints, and ensuring timely and consistent recognition.

    Grant Strategy Support

    • Collaborate on grant prospecting, proposal development, and reporting to funders.

    Community Engagement & Partnership Development
