    Title: Director of Human Resources

    Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

    Location: New York City (Hybrid)

    Hours: Full-time, Exempt

    Position Overview:

    The Director of Human Resources leads all aspects of human resources at Replications, Inc., ensuring HR strategies align with our mission and organizational goals. This role oversees payroll and benefits administration, employee engagement and compliance, and talent acquisition. The Director will champion a positive workplace culture, promote equity, and support staff growth through strategic HR leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Payroll, Benefits, and Compliance
    • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave, etc.) and recommend competitive offerings.
    • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, workplace policies, and HR best practices.
    • Manage HR systems, data, and reporting.
    • Employee Engagement, Culture & Organizational Development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Lead initiatives to foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous learning such as a sunshine committee.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
    • Guide leadership on workforce planning, retention strategies, and DEI efforts.
    • Conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent HR practices.
    • Talent Acquisition, Development, and Transitions
    • Strategically drive recruitment and onboarding to secure and integrate top talent.
    • Implement performance evaluations and development plans (i.e. Performance Improvement Plans) to foster employee growth and goal attainment.
    • Conduct insightful exit interviews and manage offboarding to facilitate organizational learning and a respectful transition.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
    • Experience: 5–10 years in HR, nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred.
    • 1 or more certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, preferred.

    • Expertise in payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in HR data analysis and budget management
    • Commitment to DEI and employee well-being

    Salary Range:

    • $90,000 – $115,000 Annually
