    Description

    POSITION: Tracker/Field Researcher

    LOCATION: Richmond, VA, or Northern Virginia

    AB PAC is a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable. We are currently seeking a Tracker/Field Researcher based in Richmond, VA, or Northern Virginia to join our Tracking team through the 2026 Virginia Senate Race. Ideally, the candidate should have a passion for politics, be a bright and hardworking individual who is able to work independently, and be a self-starter. This position often involves irregular hours.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Researching, analyzing, and identifying public events for tracking
    • Documenting public events and editing footage
    • Analyzing content gathered and identifying key moments, trends, or patterns to serve underlying strategy
    • Preparing reports with content analysis
    • Monitoring and keeping up-to-date with current events and politics
    • Collaborating with other teams on communications or projects

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Effective time management skills: the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects independently and on time
    • Excellent research skills and ability to analyze content in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail
    • The ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions
    • Camera/editing experience is preferred but not required
    • Availability to work week nights and weekends as needed
    • A current driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
    • Bilingual fluency; Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply
